From the Makola app
Open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. The app asks once, then deletes the account straight away and signs you out. There is no waiting period.
Without the app
Email support@makola.io from the email address on the account, or from any address with the phone number you signed in with. We delete the account within thirty days and confirm by reply. The same goes for a seller account and its shop.
What is deleted
- Your phone number, email address, name and password
- Your sign-ins on every phone, and any phone registered for order updates
- The shops you follow and your wishlist
- Links between your account and the sellers you bought from
What stays
An order you placed stays with the seller as their record of the sale: what was bought, the delivery address it went to, and what was paid. Sellers keep these for their own books and for tax law. To have a seller delete an order's details, contact that seller; the shop page has their address.
