Who ships your order
Makola.io is the software that shops run on. We do not ship orders. Each shop sends its own orders and is responsible for getting each one to you.
Delivery or pickup
At checkout you choose delivery to your address or, where the shop offers it, pickup at the shop.
Pickup is offered only for goods the shop sends itself. Items sent by a supplier are always delivered. A pickup order is paid online before you collect it.
Delivery fees and times
Each shop sets its own delivery areas, fees and delivery times. The delivery fee is shown at checkout before you pay. Where a shop has not given a time for your area, checkout says the seller will confirm your delivery time.
Tracking your order
Every order has a tracking page that shows its status as the shop updates it. The link is on your order confirmation page, and in your account if you have one.
Orders sent by a supplier
Some shops sell goods that a supplier holds and sends straight to the customer. For those orders the supplier ships your order. The shop you paid is still the seller, and the one to contact first.
Paying on delivery
On a shop's website, delivery orders can be paid for on delivery. Choose Pay on Delivery at checkout and pay the rider in cash or mobile money when your order arrives. These payments are made directly on delivery and do not pass through Makola.io.
If your order does not arrive
Contact the shop first. Each shop has its own contact page.
If the shop does not help, contact Makola.io through our Contact page. Our team looks at each request by hand and helps where it can.
What happens to your money if an order is cancelled or returned is in our Returns and Refund Policy.
